Party Building Leads to Unified Strength; the Eight-Point Regulation Lays a Solid Foundation | The Party Branch of Dadi Steel Structure Organizes Theme-Based Party-Building Activities to Mark the “July 1” Anniversary

To thoroughly implement the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation, strengthen the leading role of Party building, and promote the deep integration of integrity culture with workplace safety, on June 21 the Party General Branch of Dadi Steel Structure organized a thematic education campaign titled “Party Building Leads to Unified Strength; the Eight-Point Regulation Lays a Solid Foundation.” The group also visited the Yuhang Memorial Hall of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the He Sijing Memorial Hall to revisit revolutionary history and reinforce their ideological defenses against corruption and self-discipline.

Tracing Red Memories, Inheriting the Spirit of Legal Scholarship

The first stop on the visit was the Yuhang Memorial Hall of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. The hall comprises four exhibition areas—“Japanese Atrocities: Unimaginable Horror,” “Joining Hands to Meet National Crisis: A Heroic Ballad of the Nation,” “Bravely Fighting the Enemy: The Pillar of the Nation,” and “Historical Victory: Forever Remembered”—as well as a public memorial wall, all of which document the heinous crimes committed by Japanese aggressors in Yuhang and Hang County during the entire War of Resistance, along with the historical facts of the people of the two counties rising up in resistance.

During the visit, Party members profoundly felt the tumultuous years of blood and fire, as if they could hear the heroic cries of the martyrs who bravely fought for national independence and the liberation of the people. The soldiers’ blood and tears have flowed through decades, yet to this day, the red spirit remains ever vibrant.

Comrade He Sijing, as the founding father of legal studies at Yan’an University, a pioneer of legal scholarship in the People’s Republic of China, and one of the drafters of the Common Program and the first Constitution of the PRC, is revered as the “Grand Master of Red Legal Scholarship.” Chairman Mao Zedong once described him as a person “possessing a sense of justice, courage, and erudition,” and hailed him as “a jurist of the highest caliber in the entire country.”

The memorial hall was converted from the former residence of He Sijing and is organized into three major sections comprising seven exhibition units. The hall houses a wealth of precious historical photographs, documentary materials, and authentic artifacts, vividly portraying his lifelong journey of scholarly pursuit and intellectual exploration, his unwavering dedication to the Party, and his rigorous scholarship and broad erudition. Within these walls, it feels as though we have stepped through time and space, engaging in a profound spiritual dialogue with this great red jurist.

Strengthen Warning Education and Solidify the Integrity Defense Line

In the afternoon, the Party General Branch of the company convened a special study session, during which participants watched the CCDI documentary “The Eight-Point Regulation Has Changed China.” The documentary takes the introduction, implementation, and further refinement of the CPC Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation as its central theme. Through vivid case studies, comprehensive data, and authoritative analysis, it showcases how the Party Central Committee has taken the lead and how the entire Party has acted to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulation, while also summarizing the remarkable achievements and valuable lessons learned in the process.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has taken the Eight-Point Decision on Improving Conduct as a breakthrough to bring about a fresh transformation in the Party’s style of work and government conduct. In light of the company’s actual situation, Mo Guanshui, Secretary of the Party General Branch, has called on all Party members to elevate their political awareness, thoroughly grasp the core essence of the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Decision, and integrate it into their daily work and life.

This event closely integrates red education with the building of a sound work style, and by studying on-site the spirit of revolutionary martyrs, it has further strengthened the disciplinary awareness and sense of rules among Party members and cadres. The event emphasized that all comrades must always take the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Regulation as the benchmark, hold revolutionary martyrs as role models, consolidate their ideological foundation, improve their work style, and effectively translate the outcomes of their study into a powerful driving force for promoting high-quality development.
