Safeguarding Life: “Rescue” is Always Nearby | Dadi Steel Structure Conducts On-Site First-Aid Training

To enhance employees’ emergency first-aid capabilities and strengthen the company’s safety production safeguards, on the afternoon of June 25, Dadi Steel Structure partnered with Xuancheng Orthopedic Hospital to conduct a highly practical first-aid training session, jointly learning the “golden skills” that safeguard lives.

The training adopted a blended approach of theoretical instruction and scenario-based simulation, with Lin Yinghu, Director of the Hand and Foot Microsurgery Department at Xuancheng Orthopedic Hospital, serving as the特邀 lecturer. Through a combination of theoretical lectures, case studies, and video tutorials, the instructor provided employees with a clear and comprehensive introduction to the four core techniques of trauma first aid, the proper use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and management of airway obstruction due to foreign bodies—covering both the underlying principles and practical methods. In addition, the instructor conducted full-process demonstrations of CPR and the Heimlich maneuver, breaking down each step in meticulous detail to ensure participants gained a precise understanding.

To enable employees to acquire first-aid skills in a more intuitive and hands-on manner, the training program included practical simulation exercises. Participants used mannequins to focus on mastering the chest-compression technique—applying firm, rapid compressions with full recoil—and personally practiced the Heimlich maneuver, all under the guidance and correction of instructors and professional medical personnel on site. In response to any questions or uncertainties that arose during the hands-on practice, the instructors promptly provided clear explanations and demonstrations, helping participants confidently master the correct first-aid techniques.

Safe production is the responsibility of every employee. This training program has effectively enhanced employees’ ability to provide self-help and mutual assistance in emergency situations, transforming the company’s deep concern for employee safety into tangible, practical skills that can be readily learned and applied. In doing so, it has further fostered a healthy and safe working environment, thereby truly safeguarding the lives and well-being of all employees.
