Each department put forward specific objectives and measures for its own functional areas and articulated new requirements for cost measurement, control, and analysis.
Deployment Initiative: Formulating a “Combination Punch” for Cost Reduction and Efficiency Enhancement
In his concluding remarks, Chairman Pei Chuanfei emphasized that cost control is the core competency for enterprises to compete in the market, and accordingly put forward five requirements:
- The Finance Department and the Manufacturing Department shall further refine the factory warehouse material issuance and return procedures, and the Manufacturing Department shall conduct monthly cost reviews to ensure accountability is assigned to specific personnel.
- All employees should adopt a cost-management mindset that is on par with operational management and integrate cost management into the daily operations of the company and its departments.
- Cost management spans pre-event planning, in-process verification, and post-event review to ensure data consistency.
- Management must place paramount importance on cost control, treating it as a core competitive advantage and closely integrating it with marketing and overall business resilience.
- Continuously uphold and refine cost analysis meetings and control mechanisms.
This meeting conducted a comprehensive review of the current cost situation, thoroughly analyzed key pain points, and clearly defined the responsibilities and objectives of each department, thereby laying the foundation for subsequent efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
