Grand Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Dadi Steel Structure and Successful Holding of the Welding Skills Competition
Sparkling welding sparks illuminate our original aspirations, while unwavering dedication and a passionate commitment to excellence drive us to step up and take responsibility. On April 24–25, Dadi Steel Structure successfully hosted its 30th-anniversary celebration and a welding skills competition, aimed at further inspiring frontline workers to enthusiastically learn new techniques, hone their skills, and compete in professional excellence.
“The competition begins!” With the host’s command, the welding skills contest officially kicked off in full swing. Contestants meticulously performed each step—grinding bevels, adjusting gas pressure, striking the arc, aligning joints, and tack welding—their hands moving with precision down to the millimeter, executing every procedure in an orderly and methodical manner. Following the preparatory phase, the competitors gripped their welding guns, their expressions focused and composed, each showcasing their unique expertise as they wholeheartedly brought to life the artisan spirit of relentless pursuit of excellence and perfection on one component after another. Sparks flew, arcs blazed, and the atmosphere was electric.
During the evaluation phase, the panel of judges meticulously measured the weld dimensions, compared the appearance of the welds, and inspected the joint quality, rigorously scoring each welded component in accordance with the established scoring criteria. Ultimately, the first-, second-, and third-place winners of this competition were announced: First Prize went to Zhang Yingbin; Second Prize was awarded to He Jianyong and Xiao Shaomin; and Third Prize was given to Hong Changzheng, Chen Shuang, and Sun Cunjue.
This welding skills competition not only showcased the exceptional expertise and artisan spirit of the company’s top welding professionals, but also established a platform for knowledge sharing and skill development across the workforce, fostering a strong “learning through competition” culture.
