Striving with Earnestness and Vigor | Dadi Steel Structure Holds a Meeting to Summarize the First Half of 2023 and Outline Plans for the Second Half
On July 4, Dadi Steel Structure successfully held its 2023 First-Half-Year Work Summary and Second-Half-Year Work Plan Meeting, which was attended by the company’s mid- and senior-level management as well as representatives of key business personnel.
General Manager Fang Shunsheng reviewed and summarized the key economic and management indicators for the first half of the year, conducted a strategic post-mortem, and provided a concise yet comprehensive set of directives on the work plan and implementation measures for the second half. While acknowledging the achievements of the first half, he also analyzed the existing problems and shortcomings.
Deputy General Manager Xu Xiangjun presented a summary of marketing performance for the first half of 2023 and outlined the marketing plan for the second half. The presentation reviewed and analyzed the marketing achievements of the first half, focusing on the progress and outcomes of projects across five key business segments: Dadi Heavy Steel, Dadi Industrial, Dadi Overseas, Dadi Curtain Wall, and Dadi General Contracting. It also identified existing issues and challenges, offered constructive recommendations to address them, and set forth a clear marketing roadmap for the second half of 2023.
Deputy General Manager Luo Mingwen provided a comprehensive review of the company’s construction and installation projects and progress in the first half of the year, outlined the status of key project implementation, and outlined the production tasks for the second half. He emphasized the need to further enhance refined project management, intensify project settlement and fund recovery efforts, and lay a solid foundation for the orderly operation of projects.
General Manager Fang Shunsheng read out Company Document No. 5 of 2023. Subsequently, the company held a ceremony to appoint Comrade Mo Guanshui as its Consulting Chief Engineer. Chairman Pei Chuanfei expressed his heartfelt gratitude for Comrade Mo’s outstanding contributions during his tenure and expressed the hope that he would continue to lend his experience and expertise to the company. He also called on all employees to draw inspiration from this role model, carry forward the company’s fine traditions and pragmatic work style, and uphold these values in their daily work.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman Pei Chuanfei delivered an important address covering three key areas.
First, the performance in the first half of the year was characterized by “both successes and concerns, as well as underlying risks.” The concerns stem from the company’s ongoing shortcomings in market development, the execution of projects under construction, and technological innovation. At the same time, it is imperative to clearly recognize the risks posed by relatively high accounts receivable and insufficient project profitability.
Second, in the face of an increasingly deteriorating internal and external environment, all employees must practice strict frugality, adhere to fundamental principles, and be mentally prepared to withstand extreme pressure. We must strive hard, unite as one, and work together to create, share, and benefit from our achievements.
Third, we must strengthen our awareness of discipline and rules, conduct all work in strict accordance with regulations and procedures, uphold integrity and self-discipline, cultivate the habit of collective decision-making, pay close attention to our words and actions at all times, and proactively adapt to change.
The clarion call for the second half of 2023 has sounded. In the face of a challenging market environment, all employees of Dadi will maintain a relentless spirit of hard work, uphold unwavering confidence in the company, and steadfastly pursue practical action with tireless dedication. We will implement strategic directives with a stronger sense of mission and responsibility, striving with all our might to achieve outstanding results.
