April 13, Zhejiang Land Convene First quarter Safety Production Committee Meeting , Comprehensive Summary of the First Quarter Safety Management Work , and system Key Priorities for the Second Quarter Task . Members of the company’s leadership team, including Chairman Pei Chuanfei and General Manager Fang Shunsheng , All members of the Safety Committee attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Quality and Safety Department On First-Quarter Work Safety Summary of Work: In the first quarter, the company’s work safety situation remained generally stable. Key initiatives included ensuring accountability, conducting post-Spring Festival resumption-of-work and production inspections and hazard identification, and thoroughly identifying existing problems and shortcomings. In the second quarter, the focus will be on organizing “Work Safety Month” activities, deepening targeted remediation efforts, and continuously strengthening personnel training and subcontractor oversight.
Xuancheng Base Report on First-Quarter Work in Occupational Safety and Production: During the first quarter, we successfully carried out the adjustment of the Safety Committee, ensured smooth resumption of work and production as well as comprehensive three-level safety training for new employees, conducted specialized training on crane operation, strengthened standardized management of pre-shift briefing videos, and collected footage of safety violations for use in警示教育. In the second quarter, we will actively cooperate with the company and local emergency management authorities to properly prepare for and implement the “Occupational Safety Month” activities.
As the leading official in charge, Chief Engineer Tian Yunyu It was pointed out that, overall, the company’s safety performance in the first quarter remained under control; however, shortcomings such as insufficient inspection depth and the need to enhance staff competence still exist, necessitating a further intensification of inspection efforts. Subsequently, he provided a detailed interpretation of the “Measures for the Establishment of Safety Production Management Organizations and the Allocation of Safety Production Management Personnel in Construction Enterprises and Engineering Projects,” which came into effect on March 26 this year, focusing on four key aspects: the background of the revision, its core features, certificate approval and staffing requirements, and duties and responsibilities. He emphasized that the company should promptly formulate a comprehensive plan and conduct thorough self-inspections and self-corrections in accordance with the new regulations.
General Manager Fang Shunsheng It was stated that, at present, the number of personnel-based safety management measures meets the required standards; however, some management personnel lack sufficient experience and fail to conduct adequate on-site inspections, making it imperative to establish the authority and accountability of safety management personnel in performing their duties. In light of current production realities, it is essential to promptly summarize safety control experiences from “large-span” and “high-rise” plant projects and develop a systematic management framework. Key company safety management personnel must formulate monthly project inspection plans, clearly identifying safety management priorities for each phase and each project, and proactively engage at the front lines. At the same time, safety control during special periods must not be overlooked; advance arrangements should be made for inspections and targeted monitoring of critical areas. There are no small matters when it comes to safety—safety must be managed alongside production. All personnel must devote genuine effort and remain constantly vigilant about workplace safety!
Chairman Pei Chuanfei A real-life case vividly underscores the “red-line” status of workplace safety: workplace safety is not a matter of choice—it is a mandatory requirement. A single safety accident not only incurs enormous financial costs but also inflicts severe harm on those directly involved and delivers a devastating blow to the company’s reputation, ultimately impacting order acquisition and overall business operations. Safety is the cornerstone of corporate development and an inviolable red line; implementing a “one-vote veto” system for workplace safety compliance and for major workplace safety incidents is the primary mechanism for upholding this red line. At present, the company’s rigid safety constraints remain relatively weak, necessitating a substantial enhancement of all employees’ awareness of safety responsibilities and their capacity for self-discipline to promote the sustained and stable advancement of workplace safety efforts.
Finally, all participants watched a cautionary video on high-altitude work accidents, using real-life cases to reinforce everyone’s awareness of safety red lines.
Safety responsibility is of paramount importance. The meeting emphasized the need to foster a sense of vigilance and preparedness in times of peace, to firmly assign safety responsibilities at all levels, and to implement pragmatic measures that integrate safety requirements throughout the entire lifecycle and all processes of project construction, thereby establishing a solid safety foundation for the enterprise’s high-quality development.
