Successful First Steel Erection for the Taiping Bird Global Fashion R&D Center Project in Ningbo High-tech Zone

On December 10, the steel structure works for the Taiping Bird Global Fashion R&D Center project in Ningbo High-tech Zone successfully completed the hoisting of the first steel column, marking the official commencement of the main structural construction phase. Located in the High-tech Zone of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, the project boasts a total floor area of approximately 85,900 square meters and a building height of 35.6 meters. The main structure comprises a single five-story office building with a total steel consumption of 6,800 tons. The design primarily adopts a core-tube–steel-frame structural system, featuring six core tubes that are integrated into a unified whole through peripheral steel columns and beams. The steel structure is distributed across the core tubes, the external frame, the floor-level steel beams, the atrium’s box-shaped staircases, and the roof trusses. In addition, both large and small roof surfaces incorporate partial planar steel trusses, while detachable reinforced concrete truss deck slabs are employed. This R&D center serves as Taiping Bird’s global strategic hub, guided by the vision of “openness and sharing, innovation for the future.” Its sculptural quadrilateral volumes create an efficient and compact spatial layout, while a modular design accommodates diverse functional requirements. The project integrates cutting-edge materials testing and development, supply-chain collaborative innovation, a showcase and launch center, and a digital platform, thereby fostering an innovative ecosystem driven by the dual engines of technology and fashion. Construction of the Water Park and Centralized Hotel Facade at Tonglu Kaiyuan Senbo Tourism Resort is Accelerating

Recently, the curtain wall project for the water park and the centralized hotel at the Tonglu Kaiyuan Senbo Tourism Resort—a key project undertaken by our company—is progressing efficiently and in an orderly manner. Located in the eco-tourism core area along the Fuchun River in Tonglu, Hangzhou, the project has a total construction area of approximately 66,000 square meters, with a curtain wall area of about 40,000 square meters. Our company is primarily responsible for the curtain wall works for the hotel, the reception lobby, the water park, and other related sections. The main curtain wall types include aluminum panel curtain walls, glass curtain walls, GRC curtain walls, aluminum alloy doors and windows, canopies, skylights, and glass balustrades, with the eave elevation reaching 30.9 meters. The largest aluminum alloy window frame measures 6.7 meters in width and 4.3 meters in height, weighing approximately 120 kilograms, and is fitted with double-silver ultra-clear tempered glass. The largest door and window glass dimensions are 2.3 by 2.78 meters, with a weight of about 340 kilograms. The glass curtain walls are framed systems, with the largest panel measuring 1.7 by 8.5 meters and weighing roughly 850 kilograms. The design adheres to the concept of “natural growth and green organic integration,” employing a terraced setback design that seamlessly blends with the riverfront scenery. The water park comprises two above-ground floors and is themed around Polynesian island culture, with a transparent dome creating a sunlit, island-like atmosphere. The centralized hotel features six above-ground floors and draws inspiration from “mushroom mycelium” to create a fairytale-like spatial experience.
