Sprinting Through the Fourth Quarter: Dadi Steel Structure’s Overseas Projects Progress Smoothly

Since the start of the fourth quarter

Dadi Steel Structure Focuses on Production Tasks

Continuously and steadily advance project progress.

The production line is operating at full capacity, brimming with enthusiasm.

Injecting Strong Momentum into the Year-End Goal Sprint

Project 1: CANATURE KITCHEN LYNDEN Project in the United States

Located in Washington State, USA, the project features a 200,000-square-foot freeze-dried pet food facility equipped with cold storage rooms, a pre-processing area, a freeze-drying zone, a packaging area, and an automated storage and retrieval system. Upon completion, it will become the largest freeze-dried pet food plant in North America.

The company is primarily responsible for the fabrication of structural components and ocean freight logistics for this plant. The project adheres to U.S. standards, and the building features a conventional frame structure. To date, the first set of detailed shop drawings has been completed, materials have been procured, and fabrication is currently underway at the factory. The first shipment of components is scheduled for January 10, 2024.

Project 2: Singapore J108 Metro Station Project

The Jurong Region Line (JRL) is Singapore’s seventh MRT line, spanning 24 kilometers with 24 stations. It is expected to significantly enhance connectivity in western Singapore and support the development of the Jurong region.

The J108 project is a key component of the Jurong Regional Line, a flagship initiative under Singapore’s Land Transport Master Plan 2040. Our company is primarily responsible for the fabrication of components for three individual structures, adhering to European standards. The project employs a tubular truss configuration with numerous spatial nodes and flanged connections, necessitating pre-assembly at the factory and imposing stringent accuracy requirements on this process. The largest component exceeds 5 meters in width and is highly susceptible to deformation, presenting significant challenges for both factory fabrication and transportation. To date, we have received detailed design drawings for four individual structures; partial procurement of raw materials has been completed and delivered to the site, and our current focus is on technical coordination with the project management team.

Project 3: Thai Petroleum GSP7 Project

The project is located in the core area of the Map Ta Phut Oil and Gas Terminal in Rayong Province, Thailand, with a designed annual processing capacity of 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas. The clean natural gas produced will be supplied to various industrial and residential sectors across Thailand. Our company undertook the fabrication, maritime transportation, and installation of the steel structural platform, with components manufactured in accordance with U.S. standards. The project implements comprehensive management, supervision, and inspection control throughout the entire production process. Upon completion, it will replace Thailand’s first natural gas processing plant, which has been in operation for more than 30 years, thereby playing a crucial role in securing Thailand’s future energy supply. This project is a key energy initiative under the Thai government’s national plan, with multiple technical performance indicators reaching world-leading levels.

Currently, the project team has commenced on-site operations, and the detailed design of factory drawings, material procurement, and fabrication and processing are all progressing in an orderly manner. The first individual unit is scheduled for delivery on December 16.

Project 4: BYD Automotive’s New Factory Construction Project in Thailand

Located in the Eastern Economic Corridor Special Economic Zone in Rayong Province along the coast, the project has an annual production capacity of 150,000 complete vehicles and is scheduled to commence operations in 2024. Upon completion, it will serve as a manufacturing and distribution hub for electric vehicles (EVs) in Thailand, neighboring ASEAN countries, and other regions. This marks the company’s second completed full-vehicle manufacturing plant in Thailand, following the MG Motors project. Our company is primarily responsible for the fabrication, transportation, and installation of the steel-structure plant building. For this project, the main material for the steel columns is prefabricated square hollow sections, with through-penetration welds required for the internal stiffeners; during fabrication, the locations for section breaks must also be carefully considered.

Components must be palletized before being boxed for shipment, with the pallet ends raised to facilitate on-site unpacking and installation. On-site installation commenced on July 30 and is now in the final stages.

Project 5: Indonesia Beshi Main Plant Project

The Indonesia Huabao Industrial Park, spanning approximately 20,000 hectares, is planned and developed with multiple 50,000- to 100,000-ton-class berths, aiming to become a world-leading demonstration industrial park under the Belt and Road Initiative that champions green innovation, collaborative co-development, resource sharing, and win-win outcomes for the future.

The project is a 3×250 MW ultra-supercritical, single-reheat, condensing coal-fired power generation unit配套 power plant for a nickel metallurgy production line, located within the Huabao Industrial Park. The company is primarily responsible for fabricating structural steel components for the three units in the main powerhouse, as well as the pre-furnace platform and flue gas duct supports, along with supplying the associated doors and windows. Due to the large number of shipment batches, stringent requirements are imposed on component packaging and data accuracy; the project has now entered its final stage.

Since 2007, the company has been expanding into overseas markets. Through sustained and in-depth development, its international engineering business has grown steadily and substantively, while its global network of partners has continued to expand. The company’s footprint now spans dozens of countries across major continents, including North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia, earning it a high level of international recognition.

Looking ahead, Dadi Steel Structure will continue to expand its presence in overseas markets, delivering premium projects with unwavering craftsmanship and providing high-value products and services to customers worldwide.
