Steel structure erection has officially commenced for Lot 3 of the Gree Electric Appliances (Nanjing) Central Air-Conditioning Project.

At 9:18 a.m. on October 19, 2019, in Jiangning, Nanjing, the sky was a deep blue, the sun shone brightly, and a gentle breeze caressed the face. Against the backdrop of the factory buildings in Section 1, now seamlessly connected, and accompanied by the cheerful crackle of firecrackers and the spectacular burst of celebratory fireworks, the first steel column for the injection-molding workshop in Section 3 of the Gree Electric Appliances (Nanjing) Central Air-Conditioning Project was slowly hoisted into place, marking the official commencement of on-site installation for the project’s main production workshops’ steel-structure buildings.

Within Section 3, Zhejiang Dadi Steel Structure Co., Ltd. is primarily responsible for the main steel structure construction of three major individual buildings: the injection molding workshop, the sheet metal workshop, and the materials center. The total structural steelwork amounts to approximately 15,000 metric tons, with a total floor area of 116,301 square meters, and the project duration is three months.

The formal installation of the steel structure for the main plant building in Section 3 has commenced, marking another milestone for the Nanjing Central Air-Conditioning Intelligent Manufacturing Base. Leaders from the Jiangning District Science Park, the project owner, the supervision unit, the general contractor, and Dadi Steel Structure attended the lifting ceremony and witnessed the successful hoisting of the first steel column for the main plant building in Section 3.
