Phased, Targeted Training Sessions | Xuancheng Base Continues to Strengthen On-the-Job Training for Operators
To further strengthen employees’ safety awareness, standardize job-specific operating procedures, and enhance their professional skills and overall competence, the Xuancheng Base has systematically organized on-the-job training programs that are tailored to different job categories, conducted in phases and in batches.
The training system adopts a dual-track approach of “centralized classroom instruction plus on-site guidance,” covering theoretical courses on safety regulations, equipment principles, and process flows. In addition, experienced team leaders provide one-on-one hands-on demonstrations. Only those who pass the assessment are issued a job qualification certificate, ensuring that all personnel are certified and perform their duties professionally.
From June to August, the base focused on conducting specialized crane-operation training, organizing a total of six sessions. The training curriculum was closely aligned with safety regulations and practical operational skills, covering key modules such as remote-control operation, understanding equipment characteristics, operating in blind spots, signal interpretation, collision-avoidance techniques, emergency response to unexpected failures, routine equipment inspections, and standardized operating procedures, thereby comprehensively enhancing the safety and compliance of lifting operations.
Following a rigorous assessment, all 145 personnel participated in the training, with 136 passing the examination, resulting in a pass rate of 93.8%. Currently, the training base has issued “Crane Operator Certificates” to qualified personnel, fully implementing the requirement that only certified individuals may assume their posts and strictly adhering to the job-entry qualification system.
This training program has significantly enhanced employees’ safety awareness and operational proficiency, laying a solid foundation for reducing human error and ensuring production safety. Moving forward, the facility will organize refresher training and make-up examinations for those who did not pass, while also establishing and refining an annual retraining mechanism to continuously reinforce the safe and compliant conduct of on-duty personnel, thereby safeguarding the company’s stable operations and the occupational safety of its employees.
