Internship report time!
Our company maintains a school–enterprise cooperative relationship with Zhejiang Shuren University and serves as its off-campus practice base. The two parties engage in collaborative exchanges across industry, academia, and research, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that interns achieve meaningful results during their practical training. On March 29, 2017, under the organization of the Human Resources and Administration Department, four interns from Zhejiang Shuren University delivered PPT presentations summarizing their internship experiences. The event featured feedback and commentary from Mr. Fang Shunsheng, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources and Administration, and Ms. Zhang Haiyan, Senior Engineer at the Design Institute, while the newly arrived interns from the class of 2014 observed the presentations as part of their learning experience.
Peng Gangan, an intern in the Procurement Department, delivered a detailed report on procurement tasks, the procurement process, and the challenges encountered in procurement. Lin Yishao, an intern in the Manufacturing Department, provided an insightful presentation covering aspects such as drawing stamping, bill-of-materials preparation, identification of missing parts, and preparation of packing-lists, among others. While it is not feasible to list all contributions here, these internship experiences have enabled students to gain a clear understanding of work processes, acquire basic technical skills and communication techniques, and—through the reports presented by the four interns—demonstrate the practical value, importance, and necessity of hands-on training. Such experiential learning helps students translate their theoretical knowledge into engineering practice and professional competencies.
This internship report presentation is neither our first nor our last; we will continue to provide high-quality training and internship opportunities for students and foster effective mutual exchange between the university and enterprises.
