Building defensive barriers and upholding bottom lines: Dadi Steel Structure is earnestly advancing the series of “Work Safety Month” activities in a thorough and effective manner.
This June marks the 23rd “Safety Production Month.” Over the past month, Dadi Steel Structure has closely aligned its efforts with the theme “Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Ensuring Unimpeded Lifelines,” systematically planning, organizing, inspecting, and implementing a wide range of rich and diverse activities. These initiatives have further strengthened safety awareness and emergency response capabilities across the organization, reinforced accountability for safety production, and helped build an intrinsically safe enterprise.
- Strengthen publicity and firmly establish the concept of safe development.
On May 31, Dadi Steel Structure convened the kickoff meeting for Safety Production Month. Senior and mid-level company leaders, project managers, team leaders, and project engineering management personnel attended the meeting either in person or online, where the “Safety Production Month” activities were planned and the initiative was officially launched. In response to the call, all fabrication plants and project offices promptly organized a variety of safety-month events.
To foster a positive atmosphere for the event, the company has further promoted safety production policies and guidelines, relevant laws and regulations, and basic occupational safety knowledge through methods such as banner signing, posting safety posters, and distributing specialized professional articles.
- Targeted Enhancement to Strengthen Safety Professional Capabilities
On June 26, the company conducted a safety training session for workshop employees, adopting the perspective of “safety professionals” to highlight the key safety concerns encountered in daily work and to enhance employees’ ability to identify risks and respond effectively. On June 28, employees participated in an online classroom session featuring a lecture by a workplace safety expert on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on workplace safety.
During the campaign, the company organized screenings of safety awareness videos and real-life accident case studies, using these incidents to explain safety principles, highlight potential hazards, and drive improvements in workplace safety. This approach deepened employees’ understanding of risks and hazards associated with their respective roles, reinforcing the need for constant vigilance and strict adherence to safety procedures. In parallel, company leaders addressed key pain points in safety management by launching a “Safety Production Dialogue” initiative, in which they engaged in small-group safety discussions with heads of major subcontractors to analyze challenges and build consensus.
- Emergency drills to enhance the emergency response capabilities of all staff.
Using “demonstrations” to enhance training and “training” to strengthen prevention, the company has organized fire safety and emergency rescue drills for workshop employees. The approach combines preliminary training with subsequent drills, covering topics such as job-specific fire safety responsibilities, the “four understandings and four abilities” in fire safety knowledge, the fire emergency response plan, the procedures for fire emergency drills, and relevant CPR techniques.
During Safety Production Month, in order to enhance the scientific rigor, practicality, and operability of project emergency response plans, strengthen management personnel’s awareness of emergency preparedness and risk avoidance, and improve their ability to properly handle accidents, thereby ensuring rapid response and decisive action when unexpected incidents occur on site, the company organized all ongoing projects to conduct emergency drills focusing on scenarios such as fires, strikes by falling objects, and fall protection for lifelines.
- Special Rectification Campaign to Strengthen Basic Project Management
During Safety Production Month, company leaders conducted safety inspections of workshops and project sites in assigned teams. Identified safety hazards were addressed in accordance with the “three designations” principle, with deadlines for corrective action and follow-up reviews by the relevant departments. Throughout the inspection process, face-to-face discussions were held with project management personnel to highlight on-site safety issues, analyze the underlying deficiencies in technical expertise and safety awareness that contribute to these hazards, and explore strategies for enhancing safety management.
The closing ceremony does not mark the end; safety never stops. Safety management is neither an overnight achievement nor the responsibility of any single individual. Taking the “Safety Production Month” campaign as an opportunity, Dadi Steel Structure will advance the standardization of safety production practices, continuously reinforce awareness of the safety red line, maintain constant vigilance, rigorously uphold safety protocols, and build a robust safety defense to underpin the company’s high-quality development.
