The first steel structure hoisting for Plot E09-05 in Unit ZH-02 of the Shanghai Lingang Comprehensive Industrial Zone has been successfully completed.

At 9:58 a.m. on May 6, 2023, the first steel column for Plot E09-05 in Unit ZH-02 of the Shanghai Lingang Comprehensive Industrial Zone was successfully lifted into place, officially marking the commencement of the project’s main structural construction.

Shanghai Jinport (Jinqiao Lingang Comprehensive Zone) is located in the core area of the Lingang New Area of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, with a planned development area of 42 square kilometers and a pilot launch zone of 6.78 square kilometers. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, construction will commence on over 6.5 million square meters of new projects, generating approximately RMB 60 billion in assets, with the aim of building a modern coastal new city that is smart and eco-friendly, integrates industry and urban life, and offers an attractive environment for both living and working.

The project is located in Unit ZH-02, Plot E09-05 and Plot E13-04 of the Lingang Comprehensive Industrial Zone, in Nanhui New Town, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Plot E09-05 has a total construction area of 110,164.73 square meters, with 82,938.73 square meters above ground and 27,226 square meters underground. The development comprises five research buildings and one R&D manufacturing facility, aiming to foster next-generation information technology, information science and technology, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and other high-tech industries. At the same time, it seeks to further enhance the demonstration and leading role of the Lingang Comprehensive Zone in the next-generation information technology industry, ultimately creating a smart, eco-friendly park that integrates R&D and design, creative incubation, and production and testing.

As the New Area accelerates its development, countless construction workers are tirelessly toiling on the land of the Lingang New Area. The Dadi Steel Structure project team will continue to uphold the spirit of unity, collaboration, and relentless striving, dedicating itself wholeheartedly to supporting the construction of the Lingang New Area and contributing to Shanghai’s urban development and growth.
