The steel‑structure main body of Beyin’s life‑science instruments and medical‑device R&D‑cum‑manufacturing project reached topping‑out on August 22.
Located at Plot V‑69 (Unit SJC10002, Parcel C02‑07‑13), Songjiang Industrial Zone Science and Technology Park in Shanghai, the site covers a total construction floor area of 25,718.08 m². The development includes a high‑rise plant, a multi‑storey plant, an underground parking garage and a single‑storey ancillary building. Plant 1 is a four‑storey steel‑frame structure (89.8 m × 41.8 m). Plant 2 comprises one basement level plus seven upper floors (41.8 m × 25 m), also built with steel framing. A four‑level steel sky‑bridge connects the two facilities.
Designed as a high‑quality, cost‑efficient, digital smart green manufacturing hub, the completed complex will bring together R&D, production and after‑sales support for premium life‑science and medical‑device products. Tight refined project management, well‑engineered construction schedules, carefully sequenced hoisting operations and rigorous on‑site safety‑quality oversight enabled the team to hit this key construction milestone on schedule.
Moving ahead, the project team will maintain strict oversight over quality, safety and timelines to push forward remaining construction works and expedite final completion and operational handover.
