(Summary description)Recently, the commissioning of the first electric intelligent liquid crystal dimming glass on the metal roof of the T3 terminal of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport has been completed. As a new type of photoelectric control glass, it has strong environmental adaptability and has the advantages of energy saving, environmental protection, dimming and sound insulation. It can not only maintain the clean and transparent characteristics of the glass, make full use of natural light sources, and make the house get the largest area of ​​lighting; at the same time, it can ensure absolute privacy. In terms of material selection, energy-saving equipment is reasonably selected, and the energy consumption per square meter per hour is less than 4w; using reusable materials and recyclable materials, a single piece of glass can achieve space division of different needs. In terms of function, it realizes the functional diversity of ordinary glass without destroying the appearance of the building, and the brightness is not enough to produce light pollution. While shielding some infrared rays to reduce heat radiation and transmission, it also adopts the design principle of insulating glass for effective sound insulation. In terms of dimming, the shading coefficient of the smart dimming glass can be adjusted independently, and the transparent state of the glass can be freely adjusted as the conditions change, so as to ensure the indoor temperature. In summer, it reduces sun exposure and reflects most of the harmful light; in winter, it prevents heat from escaping indoors, which greatly reduces heating and cooling costs. The total amount of steel used for the roofing project of the T3 terminal of Guiyang Airport is 3,064 tons. As of October 31, a total of 2,250 tons have been installed and 500 tons have been processed on site.
