At 9:28 a.m., on May 23rd, the topping out ceremony of Shanghai Jinqiao Guopei Block Research Center was successfully held at the construction site. Relevant people of Pudong New District Government, Jinqiao Group, representatives of enterprise settled in the construction site, design company, project supervisor, general contractor, and personnel of the construction organization witnessed this moment together. As leaders start the device together, the last truss raises with colorful balloons and colored silk, when the truss reached the position smoothly, it signs that Project 1851 of Jinqiao is successfully roofed.

The project is located in the sub-core area of the city center of Jinqiao, it is the portal project in the Golden Loop Zone, and it is also an important area of the development of the Golden Loop Zone in Shanghai. The total amount of steel consumption in the project reached 28,300 tons, the total construction area is 140,843.54㎡. When it completes, a 100-meter-high main tower and three 60-meter-high sub-towers will be built. Furthermore, a 470-meter podium building will connect the towers and create a unique building image as the new landmark in the Golden Loop Zone.

Due to the complexity of the structure, and high technical requirements, it is very difficult to construct. The out frame of the steel structure is a suspended structure, high strength bolt is applied to the node of the steel column, while the pin roll node is applied to the connection between the truss and davit, and it has extremely high requirements of machining and installation. It is also one of the large-scale civilian constructions which applied the inverted architectural design.

Tower buildings B, C, and D were constructed synchronously since the construction of the upper structure. According to the special construction plan, the construction team focused on the welding of the thick steel plate, and the installation of the pin roll, only in this way, can the construction be completed on time.
