Project Overview: Located on the east side of Qisha Peninsula, Fangchenggang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangxi Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant is the first nuclear power plant in western China. The plant plans to construct 6 million-kilowatt nuclear power units, planned at one time and constructed in phases. Units 1 and 2 of the first-phase project are CPR1000 units with a single unit capacity of 1.08 million kilowatts, which were put into commercial operation on January 1 and October 1, 2016, respectively.
