“Multi-Billion-Yuan” Photovoltaic Project: First Hoisting Successfully Completed for Yiwu JA Solar Steel Structure Engineering
At 7:58 on September 3, 2021, the first hoisting of the steel structure for the civil engineering general contracting project of the Yiwu JA Solar 10 GW high-efficiency cell and 10 GW high-efficiency module production facility and supporting projects (Phase II—Cell Workshop No. 2), undertaken by Dadi Steel Structure, was successfully completed, marking the official commencement of the main steel structure construction phase and sparking a vigorous construction boom across the project.
The project is located northwest of Wuzhou Avenue and southwest of Fangfei Road in Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province, and features a portal steel frame structural system. /The steel frame structure primarily consists of H-shaped columns, box-section columns, and H-shaped steel beams, with a total floor area of approximately 48,049.4 square meters. The project is being developed in two phases: Phase I includes 5 GW of solar cells and 5 GW of solar modules, with planned full-capacity operation by December 2021; Phase II also comprises 5 GW of solar cells and 5 GW of solar modules, with full-capacity operation scheduled for December 2023.
