Serbian projects are progressing in an orderly manner, contributing to win-win outcomes under the Belt and Road Initiative.
Serbia is located in Southeast Europe and is often referred to as the “crossroads of Europe,” as well as an important hub for the Belt and Road Initiative. Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. is a large multinational mining conglomerate primarily engaged in the exploration and development of gold, copper, and other metallic mineral resources. Zijin Bor Copper is of vital importance to the economic development of eastern Serbia and represents a key cooperation project between China and Serbia.
Zhejiang Dadi Steel Structure Co., Ltd. has undertaken the fabrication of steel structures for the Zijin Bor and Rikita copper-gold mining projects in Serbia. The Bor project is a technological upgrade of a copper mine, located in the city of Majdanpek, Bor District, Republic of Serbia, with steel structure works encompassing sub-projects such as the grinding and flotation workshop and intermediate ore bins. The Rikita copper-gold mine is a high-grade, ultra-large-scale copper-gold deposit, divided into an upper ore zone and a lower ore zone, with steel structure works including the grinding and flotation workshop and intermediate ore bins, among other sub-projects. The total steel consumption for the two projects is approximately 10000 tons. Currently, both projects are in simultaneous, normal production and shipment operations.
Adhering to the principles of meeting project schedules, ensuring quality, and maintaining safety, Zhejiang Dadi Steel Structure Co., Ltd. has effectively organized the fabrication and production of steel structures through proactive coordination, comprehensive planning, and meticulous management, thereby guaranteeing the smooth progress of the Serbia project. The Belt and Road Initiative has forged close ties between Serbia and China; the Serbia project is not only a testament to Dadi Steel Structure’s commitment to craftsmanship but also a significant collaborative undertaking in support of the national Belt and Road strategy.
