Enhancing Employee Skills and Promoting the Spirit of Craftsmanship | Steel Structure Welding Skills Competition

In order to motivate employees to learn new technologies and enhance their skills, foster a spirit of proactive improvement and striving for excellence, elevate the quality of the company’s products, and build a team of highly skilled welders, our company has, 2020 year 5 month 21 A welding skills competition themed “Compete in Skills, Enhance Qualities, and Cultivate Model Workers” was held on a daily basis.

All work teams in the workshop actively signed up to participate in this competition, ultimately selecting thirty welders to take part in the contest. The Quality and Safety Department and the Manufacturing Department jointly formulated the competition requirements and judging criteria. The content of this competition includes: butt joint and T Welding test specimens of a specific type. Scoring comprises two components: visual inspection and nondestructive testing. Rankings are determined by sorting the combined scores for the two welding methods in descending order. Following intense and competitive proceedings, the first prize was ultimately awarded. 1 Name, Second Prize 2 Name, Third Prize 3 Name.

Following the competition, Qu Jianguo, Manager of the Quality and Safety Department, delivered a concluding address: “The purpose of this skills competition is to promote learning through competition and to foster mutual exchange and refinement of technical expertise. As the saying goes, ‘Excellence in one’s craft stems from diligence and withers in idleness.’ I urge everyone to carry the competitive spirit into their daily work, systematically review both successes and areas for improvement, continuously enhance their professional welding skills, uphold the spirit of craftsmanship, and take full responsibility for themselves and for the company.”
