Learning Knows No Bounds, Action Never Ceases | Dadi Steel Structure Conducts Specialized Training on Basic Financial Knowledge
To enhance employees’ foundational financial knowledge and promote standardized internal management, Dadi Steel Structure organized a specialized training session on financial fundamentals on October 12.
Part 1: Use reflection to guide action, and put reflection into practice through action.
This training session was delivered by Tian Zhiyong, Deputy Director of the Planning and Finance Department, and focused on five key areas: financial statements, financial payment methods, basic tax laws, financial risks in contract negotiations, corporate legal risks, and corresponding mitigation measures.
During the meeting, the instructor adopted a “theoretical explanation plus case analysis” approach to systematically examine the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, highlighting key metrics such as the debt-to-asset ratio, profitability, and cash conversion cycle. The instructor also outlined the operational procedures for steel structure companies regarding export tax rebates, as well as the distinction between inclusive-of-tax and exclusive-of-tax pricing in profit distribution. Furthermore, the instructor clarified the proper use of specialized terms such as letters of credit, FOB prices, and CIF prices, and underscored the critical importance of rigorously managing risks associated with project payment settlements.
Part 2: Everyone Shares Their Views and Raises Questions
During the interactive session, the instructor drew on years of experience in financial practice to address the financial risks and challenges encountered in participants’ day-to-day work and life. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere, and all attendees reported gaining substantial insights and benefits.
More than 60 participants, including project managers from the Company’s Marketing Department, Pre-Settlement Center, Materials Procurement Department, Engineering Management Department, and Manufacturing Department, attended the training both online and offline.
Since the beginning of this year, the company has aligned its initiatives with business realities by implementing a targeted training program that delivers differentiated training tailored to various job levels and roles, while encouraging outstanding internal trainers to develop and deliver in-house training courses.
This training session has further enhanced all employees’ understanding and mastery of financial knowledge, enabling them to continuously upskill and empower themselves in support of their job responsibilities. Looking ahead, the company will continue to support employees in leveraging learning to drive performance, fostering two-way integration between business operations and finance, and providing robust assurance for the efficient advancement of all corporate initiatives.
