Shanghai Jinding’s New Office and Commercial Development on Plot 20-01 Successfully Tops Out
At 8:58 a.m. on August 7, the main structural topping-out ceremony was successfully completed for the new office and commercial development project on Plot 20-01 in Shanghai Jinding.
The project is located in the Jinqiao Development Zone of Shanghai’s Pudong New Area, with a total floor area of 165,000 square meters, comprising 88,000 square meters above ground and 77,000 square meters underground. On the south side are two 18- to 19-story office towers, with heights of 84.1 meters and 88.6 meters, respectively, featuring a steel frame–reinforced concrete core tube structural system. On the north side is a four-story commercial podium that is connected via underground levels to the basements of three adjacent parcels—Parcel 16-01, Parcel 17-02, and Parcel 19-01—forming, upon completion, a mega-scale mixed-use complex integrating extensive commercial and office functions.
The project is committed to delivering high-quality performance under contract, achieving this through meticulous planning and careful execution, stringent control over schedule adherence and construction quality, and the successful overcoming of numerous challenges—including tight deadlines, thick-plate welding, and high-altitude welding—while maintaining safe, efficient, high-quality, and fully controllable operations at all times.
Moving forward, all members of the project team will remain fully committed and redouble their efforts to steadily advance project construction, ensuring early completion and commissioning so as to make a substantial contribution to the development of Shanghai Jinding.
