Great Auspiciousness for the Top Beam of the Main Sphere at Tianshan Sea World • Yellow River Pearl

On the morning of July 16, the steel truss roof structure for the main spherical dome of Tianshan Sea World—Yellow River Pearl in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, constructed by our company, held a topping-out ceremony on site. At 10:18 a.m., amid the thunderous sound of firecrackers, the first truss span was successfully joined.

The project features a composite structural system comprising cable-stayed arch trusses combined with a single-layer space grid shell, forming an ellipsoidal shape with a complex structural configuration. The projected floor area is 16,500 square meters, with a major axis of 196 meters and a minor axis of 106 meters. The ellipsoidal form serves as the landmark architectural feature of this large-scale aquatic entertainment complex. The successful closure of the first main girder of the primary ellipsoidal dome marks the entry of the project into a critical phase of construction.

Tianshan Sea World—The Pearl of the Yellow River is a landmark project commemorating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and a key investment attraction initiative for Yinchuan City. The region’s leadership has attached great importance to the project’s progress. Representatives from various Party and government agencies at the regional and municipal levels, along with more than 20 leading domestic media outlets, attended the site to observe the construction. Leaders at all levels delivered enthusiastic speeches, congratulating Daliang on the successful closure of the main span and fully endorsing our company’s preparatory work.
