Shanghai Jinqiao Meiya Project Successfully Completes First Steel Structure Erection

At 10:28 a.m. on June 10, 2023, the first steel structure lift was successfully completed for the Shanghai Jinqiao Meiya Project, marking the official commencement of the project’s main steel structure construction.

The Jinqiao Meiya Plot Project is located adjacent to the Pudong Middle Ring Road, within Block 21A-01 in the core area of the Jinqiao Subcenter. It forms an integral part of the “Pudong Golden Middle Ring Belt,” with a total gross floor area of approximately 192,000 square meters and a steel consumption of about 14,000 metric tons. The above-ground portion comprises a roughly 170-meter-tall office tower with an attached podium, as well as two approximately 100-meter-tall residential towers with commercial podiums. The four-level underground structure accommodates commercial spaces, lobbies, parking garages, equipment rooms, and other ancillary facilities. Upon completion, the project will be developed into a mixed-use, ultra-high-rise complex integrating R&D offices, distinctive retail outlets, and high-end residential units.

The project team will take the first hoisting of the steel structure as a new starting point for intensive efforts, meticulously organizing and scientifically executing construction to ensure that safety, schedule, and quality are all rigorously managed, thereby delivering high-quality performance, building a premium project, and contributing to the success of the entire construction endeavor.
