Steel Structure Project for the Construction of the Catwalk on the Halogaland Bridge in Norway

Steel consumption: 5,800 tons
Project Overview: Located in Norway’s cold northern region, this project is subject to extremely low construction temperatures—often dropping below minus 30 degrees Celsius—and involves the erection of a 100-meter-high aerial work platform. Consequently, stringent requirements are imposed on every stage, including raw materials, fabrication processes, coating techniques, packaging, and transportation, with exceptionally tight tolerances for dimensional accuracy. Furthermore, the finished product must comply with the EU CE certification standards.
