Zhejiang Dadi has won the steel structure contract for the Pegasus Hotel Expansion Project in Guyana, marking another milestone in its South American expansion and deepening its footprint across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Situated in Georgetown, Guyana’s capital, this development will be the nation’s first Hyatt-branded hotel. Driven by Guyana’s booming petroleum sector and rising demand for corporate lodging, the 15-storey building stands 65.4 meters tall. It delivers 13,307 sq.m of gross floor area and 160 guestrooms, boosting local high-end hospitality capacity upon completion.
Zhejiang Dadi’s scope covers detailed design through port delivery in China, plus six months of on-site technical support. All materials, fabrication and inspections follow US standards under a tight construction timeline.
The firm has extensive experience executing American-standard projects, with proven capabilities in design, procurement, fabrication, coating, packaging and logistics. Leveraging this expertise, it will streamline workflows, schedule production rationally and enforce strict quality controls to guarantee timely steel supply and smooth delivery.
