Steel Structure Installation Begins at Shanghai East Railway Station Project

At 11:18 a.m. on May 19, the first steel column of Section SHDDSSG-1 at the Shanghai East Railway Station was successfully hoisted, marking the start of above-ground structural work.This is Dadi Steel Structure’s second major railway station project in 2025, following the Hangzhou Airport HSR Qiantang Station.Located in Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New Area, Shanghai East Station has a total above-ground construction area of 751,300 square meters. With 15 platforms and 30 tracks, it is second in scale only to Shanghai Hongqiao Station and serves as a mega transport hub integrating air travel, high-speed rail, regional rail, and metro systems.Once completed, the project will become a highly integrated “station-city” complex and play a key role in Shanghai’s goal of becoming a globally influential, modern international metropolis.The project team will maintain high standards and strong execution, ensuring precise project management and quality delivery to build a landmark hub for air-rail intermodal transport.

Steel Structure Topped Out at Golden Bridge Jinwan New Materials Industrial Park

At 1:18 p.m. on April 15, the final steel beam of the Golden Bridge Jinwan New Materials Industrial Park in Shanghai was successfully installed, marking the completion of the main structure and a key milestone in the project’s progress.Located in the core area of Jinwan, Pudong New Area, the project covers 21,700 square meters with a total floor area of 95,900 square meters. It consists of six high- and mid-rise R&D buildings connected by four steel skywalks. The project uses approximately 14,000 tons of steel, with the largest single building using up to 4,671 tons and cantilever spans reaching 6.7 meters.Despite a tight site, complex workflows, and overlapping tasks, the construction team adopted a zoned hoisting strategy and optimized installation sequences to overcome the challenges and ensure smooth progress.Designed as a low-carbon, intelligent, and eco-friendly innovation campus, the project will support the integration of new materials and health industries in the Golden Bridge area. The team will continue to push forward with high standards and contribute to the sustainable growth of Shanghai’s advanced materials sector.

Steel Structure Installation Begins at Changxing Phase II Block Assembly Workshop

At 10:18 a.m. on March 20, the first steel column of the Block Assembly Workshop (Phase II-A) at the CSSC Changxing Phase II Capacity Enhancement Project was successfully hoisted, marking the start of the main structural construction.Located at the Changxing Island Shipbuilding Base in Shanghai, the workshop covers 15,120 square meters, with a roof height of 37.9 meters. As an expansion project, it adds one new bay to the existing facility, with a total new length of 336 meters and a span of 45 meters. The steel structure weighs approximately 3,027 tons.Upon completion, the project will streamline the shipbuilding process, remove production bottlenecks, and significantly boost block assembly capacity. It will also support the base’s shift toward intelligent and green manufacturing.Launched in January 2021 with a total investment of RMB 18 billion, 4.32 million square meters, Changxing Phase II is a key national and municipal project and a major step in advancing China’s maritime, technological, and manufacturing strategies.The project team will continue to uphold high standards and efficient construction to contribute to building a world-class marine equipment base.

First Steel Column Installed at Qiantang Station of Hangzhou Airport High-Speed Railway

On March 8, the first steel column of the Qiantang Station building, part of the Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport hub project (section HZJCGTZF-1), was successfully installed, marking the full-scale launch of the station’s steel structure construction.As a key station on the main line, Qiantang Station covers a total area of 280,000 square meters, including 70,000 square meters for the railway station and 210,000 square meters for supporting facilities. With 6 platforms and 11 tracks, it serves as the largest newly built station on the line and a vital hub in the Yangtze River Delta’s multi-level rail network.The project includes four main components: the central station building and facilities, east parking structure, west complex, and supporting buildings. The main structure combines reinforced concrete and steel frameworks.Dadi Steel Structure will use this milestone as a starting point to ensure quality and safety while advancing construction efficiently, supporting Hangzhou’s goal of becoming a world-class transportation hub and promoting regional integration.
