Recently, the key facade curtain wall project for the Water Park and Centralized Hotel – part of Tonglu New Century Sunac Tourism Resort and undertaken by our company – has been moving forward efficiently and smoothly.

The project spans a total construction area of approximately 66,000 square meters, with the curtain wall area making up around 40,000 square meters. The main curtain wall types include aluminum panel curtain walls, glass curtain walls, GRC curtain walls, aluminum alloy doors and windows, canopies, skylights, and glass railings, with the cornice standing at an elevation of 30.9 meters.

The aluminum alloy window frames have a maximum width of 6.7 meters, a maximum height of 4.3 meters, and weigh around 120 kilograms, fitted with double-silver ultra-white tempered glass. The largest door and window glass panels measure 2.3m × 2.78m and weigh roughly 340 kilograms. The glass curtain walls follow a frame-type design; the biggest of these panels are 1.7m × 8.5m and weigh about 850 kilograms.

Processing and Installation of Large-Size GRC PanelsGRC is a new type of curtain wall material. The GRC panels used are relatively large, each around 6 square meters. Since both the keels and panels are prefabricated as integrated units in the factory, strict precision is required for keel arrangement and manufacturing.

Both the balcony aluminum panels and glass railings feature irregular curved surfaces, which made system integration challenging. Joining and Integrating Multi-System & Special-Shaped NodesDuring construction, technical refinements were made using test sections to achieve a flawless connection between the GRC panels and the curved aluminum panels of the balconies.

This project marks another key milestone for our company in the cultural tourism sector, allowing us to gain critical expertise and valuable experience in working with complex designs and new materials.
