On June 20, the China Steel Structure Association's Fireproofing and Anti-corrosion Committee held its first expert meeting at Dadi Steel. Alongside it, a seminar titled “The Future Development of Refined Steel” was successfully conducted.

Experts from design institutes, steel structure companies, coating manufacturers, and project owners attended to discuss the current applications and future prospects of exposed and refined steel in construction.

The meeting began with speeches from Prof. Li Guoqiang (Chairman of the Committee) and Mr. Luo Mingwen (Dadi Steel DGM and Chief Engineer). The committee’s draft working regulations were announced, and an appointment letter was presented to Mr. Zhou Jian, head of the expert group on coating quality assurance.

In the seminar, Zhou Jian and Li Gang (China Resources Land) shared technical insights on achieving high-quality steel appearances and exposed steel structure practices. Experts then engaged in active discussions on standards, engineering challenges, and technological innovation.

Mr. Pei Chuanfei, Chairman of Dadi Steel, emphasized the company's commitment to innovation and its "Steel Structure + N" development strategy. He called for collaborative efforts to drive high-quality growth in refined steel and exposed structures.

Prof. Li Guoqiang concluded the event by highlighting refined steel’s potential in expanding applications, improving quality, and establishing third-party evaluation systems through standardization and technical upgrades.

This event provided valuable insight and fostered collaboration toward the advancement of refined steel in the construction industry.
