Steel Structure Installation Begins at Shanghai East Railway Station Project
(Summary description)At 11:18 a.m. on May 19, the first steel column of Section SHDDSSG-1 at the Shanghai East Railway Station was successfully hoisted, marking the start of above-ground structural work.This is Dadi Steel Structure’s second major railway station project in 2025, following the Hangzhou Airport HSR Qiantang Station.Located in Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New Area, Shanghai East Station has a total above-ground construction area of 751,300 square meters. With 15 platforms and 30 tracks, it is second in scale only to Shanghai Hongqiao Station and serves as a mega transport hub integrating air travel, high-speed rail, regional rail, and metro systems.Once completed, the project will become a highly integrated “station-city” complex and play a key role in Shanghai’s goal of becoming a globally influential, modern international metropolis.The project team will maintain high standards and strong execution, ensuring precise project management and quality delivery to build a landmark hub for air-rail intermodal transport.
