First Steel Column Installed at Qiantang Station of Hangzhou Airport High-Speed Railway
(Summary description)On March 8, the first steel column of the Qiantang Station building, part of the Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport hub project (section HZJCGTZF-1), was successfully installed, marking the full-scale launch of the station’s steel structure construction.As a key station on the main line, Qiantang Station covers a total area of 280,000 square meters, including 70,000 square meters for the railway station and 210,000 square meters for supporting facilities. With 6 platforms and 11 tracks, it serves as the largest newly built station on the line and a vital hub in the Yangtze River Delta’s multi-level rail network.The project includes four main components: the central station building and facilities, east parking structure, west complex, and supporting buildings. The main structure combines reinforced concrete and steel frameworks.Dadi Steel Structure will use this milestone as a starting point to ensure quality and safety while advancing construction efficiently, supporting Hangzhou’s goal of becoming a world-class transportation hub and promoting regional integration.
