Dadi Steel Structure, in partnership with China Railway 2nd Engineering Group, has secured the EPC contract for the reconstruction and expansion of the Tonglu Service Area on the Hang-Xin-Jing Motorway. The winning bid is worth 209.39 million RMB, marking another significant milestone for the company's general contracting business.

Project Overview

Located in Jiangnan Town, Tonglu County, the Tonglu Service Area is a nationally recognized model service area and a five-star facility in Zhejiang Province. It serves over 5.7 million vehicles and 18 million passengers annually.

The project includes the construction of a dual-purpose service area with a total building area of approximately 35,000 square meters and a total investment of 290 million RMB. The site spans 200,000 square meters and is divided into two sections along the motorway:

Northern Section:
A complete overhaul with 31,165 square meters of new construction. The parking capacity will increase to about 500 spaces, with 15% equipped for EV charging in the first phase and a target of 30% in the future.

Southern Section:
Partial upgrades with an additional 3,005 square meters of construction. The parking capacity will rise to about 590 spaces, with similar EV charging provisions as the northern section.
