(Summary description)Recently, the results of the first BIM Technology Application Competition of Zhejiang Steel Structure Industry Association were announced. The two achievements of Dadi Steel Structure as the leading unit won the single category award of the BIM Technology Application Competition, among which "Junfeng Road Middle School Construction Project" won the award. The second prize, "Haikou Wuyuanhe Cultural and Sports Center (Phase II) Gymnasium" won the third prize. Junfeng Road Middle School Project is located in the north of Tongzhengong Road, Licang District, Qingdao City and west of Junfeng Road, with a construction area of ​​69,200 square meters and a steel structure consumption of 9,400 tons. The prefabricated steel structure used in the project is the first in the industry in Qingdao. After completion, it will further improve the guarantee level of compulsory education in Licang District. During the construction of the project, especially on the roofs of the 6th and 8th areas of the complex building, the span of the steel truss single truss is 33 meters and the weight is about 50 tons. The single truss hoisting has difficulties such as high precision requirements, difficult control, and large hoisting deformation. By making full use of the integrity and visualization advantages of BIM technology, from the planning and preparation stage to the construction and construction process, in the three-dimensional site layout, steel structure detailed design, mechanical and electrical pipeline integration, BIM construction progress, cost, quality, operation and maintenance and other stages It can effectively improve the construction efficiency, ensure the project quality and reduce the project cost. Haikou Wuyuanhe Gymnasium is located in the north of Changxiu Avenue and east of Jinger Road in Changxiu District, Haikou, Hainan Province, with a construction area of ​​78,518 square meters and a total building height of 47.6 meters. As Haikou's "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" cultural and sports industry, it has the characteristics of large span, large volume, and many special materials. After completion, it can hold various international sports events. In the project planning and construction stage, BIM technology was introduced, and based on professional technology, it was optimized for the processing and installation of the central rigid ring, the installation of variable-section truss, and the installation of Y-shaped steel columns. Comprehensive application in combined support system design and calculation, construction process, visual disclosure, etc., improve operation and maintenance efficiency, reduce operation and maintenance costs, and accumulate various data to achieve optimal decision-making.
