Beijing witnessed a major triumph as Dadi Steel Structure, a leading name in the construction industry, secured the prestigious China Construction Engineering Luban Award for the 2022-2023 period. Termed as the Oscars of China's construction sphere, this award symbolizes engineering excellence, showcasing the nation's pinnacle construction standards.

This grand achievement credits the Jiangsu Garden Expo Park (Phase I) Project, executed by Zhejiang Dadi Steel Structure Co., Ltd. Situated in the picturesque Nanjing's Jiangning District, the project capitalizes on the Tangshan National Tourist Resort, seamlessly blending conference, leisure, vacation and health-centric facilities.

Featuring key structures like the main exhibition hall, Lisheng Hotel, post station, small train station, Huanghuaan Inn, geological science museum, and more, Dadi Steel Structure expertly navigated the complexities of steel construction for every facet of this landmark project.

Of particular note is the Lisheng Hotel, the largest steel structure of Phase I, which boasts a unique blend of steel, wood, cable and membrane structures. With its expansive span, intricate design and challenging fabrication process, including curved roofs and complex membrane-like structures with flowering columns, the hotel presented formidable construction challenges.

Meeting these hurdles head-on, the project team embraced a core philosophy of Technological Innovation and Intelligent Construction. This comprehensive approach, incorporating research breakthroughs, technological advancements, smart construction practices, and efficient management, ensured flawless project execution, embodying the essence of Smart Construction and Management  throughout its life-cycle.

During construction, the team achieved remarkable technological milestones, earning accolades like the Longtu Cup national-level BIM award, six provincial and ministerial-level BIM awards at the Shanghai BIM competition, four utility model patents, a provincial-level prefabrication achievement, two enterprise-level construction methods, and the publication of six academic journals and corporate papers.

The project also claimed prestigious awards, including the Zhejiang Province Steel Structure Golden Award and the China Steel Structure Golden Award.
