At 07:58 AM, Sept 3, 2021, the initial hoisting has completed for the general contractual project of civil works (phase II – battery workshop 2), Jing’ao Power Plant of 10GW/year High-efficient Battery and Components with supporting projects, undertaken by DADI. It marks the formal commencement of the main body construction of steel structure. The project progress is in full swing.

Located at northwestern Wuzhou Street and southwestern Fangfei Rd. of Yiwu City, the plant takes the structure form of portal steel frame/steel frame, covering about 48049.4 m2, with the main structure mainly consisting of H-column, Box column, H-shaped steel beams, etc. The project has two phases to construct, first one for workshops of 5GW battery plus 5GW components with planned completed time being December, 2021, and second for the same type of workshops to be accomplished by December, 2023.

Since the project plan was established, it has been listed as one of the special major projects of Zhejiang Province. As the second “ten-billion level” photovoltaic project of Yiwu Informative Photovoltaic High-tech Zone, it will after completion make great contribution to Yiwu’s ambition to become a major distribution center for the global leading manufacturers of high-end solar photovoltaic technology, laying solid ground for Yiwu to build a high-quality “City of the Light of the World”, further attracting talents and cultivating innovation.

The success of the hoisting is an important step in the project plan. Next, DADI will focus on the coordinate schedule making and the work arrangement on the basis of safety and quality with the pandemic prevention and control strengthened, so as to move forward faster and achieve the objectives timely. A manufacturing base integrated with advanced automation, informatization, intelligent technology, and manufacturing of batteries and components will be built with heart, in order to help accelerate the process to forge clusters of “hundred-billion level” photovoltaic industries in Yiwu and contribute to the city’s industrial structure transformation and improvement and to the high-quality development of manufacturing.
