Good news is reported recently from the project management department of Junfeng Rd. Middle School, undertaken by DADI, that its workplace has been examined as Qingdao’s Exemplary Site of Standardized Management of Architecture Construction after on-site audit and all-round review by experts of Department of Housing and Construction in Urban and Rural Area of Qingdao.

Located at the west of Junfeng Rd., Licang District, and the north of Huayi Exemplary Housing Estate, Qingdao, Shandong, the project covers 68751.71 ㎡ with a steel consumption of 9347 metric tons, consisting of three single buildings, teaching building, reporting hall, and headquarter. Teaching building has one underground storey and five aboveground storeys, and reporting hall two storeys, all of which are made of steel framework structure. The headquarter has three underground storeys and one aboveground. Reinforced concrete is used in two lowest floors underground and steel structure the top floor underground and one floor above. Thirty classrooms are expected to be constructed, providing for residents living around more access to better education resources with more comfortable services, so that the overall education pressure in Licang will be eased effectively after completion.

The title we earned is the approval from Qingdao construction authorities on our construction management of projects under general contract, encouraging the expansion of our relevant markets in Qingdao, Shandong, and even regions across the country. As our first project under general contract in our market of Qingdao, it applies fully assembled steel structure to become the first example in the architecture industry of this city, speeding up our promotion and practice in this new area.

Since commencement, we have set the goal to make it as a city-level and province-level standardized construction site with civility. To enter the construction stage, the management department began with enclosure gate, temporary housing, field and office arrangement, ground hardening, and safety management, etc., abiding by Longyuan group company’s standard and implementing Qingdao’s Standardization plus Strategy and various management policies, so as to achieve the green construction as required.

Currently, the construction of all the main and secondary structures of single buildings has been finished. The accomplishment of the decoration of exterior elevation and interior structure and of the exterior engineering is underway. Our management department will take our winning this title as an opportunity to consolidate the constructed structure and implement the standardization throughout the field management. We will raise the level of quality management based on a safe workplace, move faster to achieve the completion, and enhance the quality control, so that we can succeed on the goal.
