In January 2021, Zhejiang Steel Structure Industry Association officially announced the results for the Recommendation Award of China’s Steel Structure Gold Award ( Zhejiang Steel Structure’s Golden Steel Award ) of 2020. Zhejiang Dadi Steel Structure Co., Ltd.’s Steel Structure of Jinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center and GREE ( Nanjing ) Central Air-Conditioning Factory Phase III claim this award after the pre-examination, on-site inspection and the technical document verification, etc.

It is well-known that the Recommendation Award of China’s Steel Structure Gold Award (Zhejiang Steel Structure’s Golden Steel Award), the candidates of which are selected by Zhejiang Steel Structure Industry Association every two years, is the most honorable award with no more than 150 projects be rewarded. Golden Steel and China’s Steel Structure Gold Award’s recommendation are rewarded at the same time.

Jinjiang International Convention & Exhibition Center

Located at Meiling Street, Jinjiang, Fujian Province, one of the starting points of Maritime Silk Road of Ancient Quanzhou, with a steel consumption of 14,200 metric tons, this building has a total area of appr. 103,300 ㎡ and the underground area is appr. 29,400 ㎡, with the aboveground structure divided into five areas: the exhibition halls, the central ecological hall, the north, and south halls, and the conference center.

The roof is a steel truss structure of a large span up to 66 meters with a single facade truss of appr. 101 metric tons. The ceiling of the Central Ecological Hall is single curved with 306m ribbon-like bars. Moreover, this project is the first PPP project undertaken by Long Yuan Construction Group Co., Ltd, and also the first PPP project of venue category constructed in China. As a professional construction company of steel structure, we overcame the difficulties such as the complexity of levers on intersecting joints, thick plates welding and the welding seam, etc.

By so far, many auto shows and food shows have been held in this building which shall be an example promoted by finance ministry and Fujian government.

GREE (Nanjing) Central Air-Conditioning Factory Phase III

Located in Jiangning District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, this project, with a total area of appr. 1,200,006 ㎡, is characterized of high precision and strict perforation rates of the steel component. The total building area is 116,301 ㎡, being divided into three single units: Injection molding workshop for 22.573 meters high with a total area for 53208.09 ㎡ and 2 floors aboveground, sheet metal spraying workshop for 23.805 meters with a total area for 44279.38 ㎡ and 2 floors aboveground, and material center for 23.605 meters with a total area for 18794 ㎡ and one floor aboveground.

The steel consumption is about 15,000 metric tons. With strongly connected weld like high-strength low-alloy structural steel, the welded plate is up to 32 mm thick. And the lowest temperature for field welding is -3 ℃. After completion, it will be the largest digital base manufacturing GREE central air-conditioners in China.
