(Summary description)In the outside part of the steel structure building, special-shaped columns, such as Y-shaped columns, are usually used to support the dome structure of the roof and ground walkways, in order to design a better visual effect. The segmented steel components are usually applied in the Y-shaped structural columns, which are welded and formed on site, causing more difficult to weld. Moreover, Y-shaped steel structural columns has the characteristics of heavy weight and difficult positioning of the center of gravity. Therefore, twisting and swinging are more likely to occur during the hoisting process, which will increases the difficulty of hoisting.
